2 Basic Photography: CAMERA BUTTONOLOGY. Learning how to control and setup your digital camera system. You MUST bring your camera and instruction manual since this class will emphasize hands on learning with your own camera. Jan 19, 6 PM to 8:30 PM
3 Basic Photography: COMPOSITION & ARTISTIC CAMERA CONTROL. Learn how to take artistically pleasing images. Jan 12, 6 PM to 8:30 PM
4 Basic Photoshop: BASIC EDITING. Learn how to actually edit your images on your computer. This will cover levels, contrast color controls and sharpening. Learn how to clone and use the spot tool for fixing bad areas of your image. Jan 26, 6 PM to 8:30 PM
5 Basic Photoshop: IMAGE LIBRARY WORKFLOW. Learn how to setup a library of images on your computer and how to make safe archives to protect yourself from computer crashes! Feb 2, 6 PM to 8:30 PM
6 Basic Photoshop: RAW WORKFLOW. Learn how to get the BEST POSSIBLE image out of your camera! Learn the workflow associated with this mode of photography. Feb 9, 6 PM to 8:30 PM
7 Basic Photoshop: MONITOR & SYSTEM COLOR CALIBRATION. Learn WHY and HOW to color calibrate your computer system! This one skill will enable you to get much better color control between your editing and printing! Feb 16, 6 PM to 8:30 PM
8 Basic Photoshop: DESKTOP FINE ART PRINTING. Learn how to make the highest quality prints on your home printer and the idiosyncrasies you must learn to overcome! Feb 23, 6 PM to 8:30 PM
9 Basic Photoshop: PRINTING WITH YOUR LOCAL PRINT SERVICE. Learn how to print the highest quality photographs with your local Pro Lab or print service. March 2, 6 PM to 8:30 PM
Pricing is $35.00 per class and if you take all 9 classes the last class is free.
We will likely be adding 1 or 2 more courses on to this series as we progress and see how our students are doing with the information!
