ADVANCED MACRO WORKSHOP
& ALTERNATIVE ARTISTIC FLOWER EXCURSION
You are invited to join us for this highly educational workshop on Advanced Macro Photography at our modern training facility in Pawleys Island, SC. The workshop will cover advanced techniques in macro such as focus plain shifting & tilting, selective artistic focus techniques, focus blending, subject control, cross polarization control & manipulation, water lens photography and MUCH MUCH MORE! This class builds upon our Macro Photography Workshop and is an INTENSE hands on workshop. Expect an in depth workshop that will keep you thinking about new and alternative techniques in relationship to your current skills! We will introduce you to Infrared and B&W macro photography as well as spend a lot of time on selective focus manipulations as well as software techniques to achieve the same affect. We will also introduce you to multi-slice focus manipulations and other advanced software techniques!
The workshop will start at 8am Saturday morning and continue to noon when we will break for a group lunch at a local eatery. Then we will continue on to Brookgreen Gardens where we have made arrangements for you to wonder the gardens with all of your gear photographing the flowers, insects and animals within!
The class size is LIMITED so that you can have one on one time with both Mark & Sean to practice and enforce the new techniques learned during the mornings classroom workshop!
The standard macro equipment normally used is assumed (extension tubes, close up filters, teleconverters, remote shutter release and tripod, reflectors, flash units and flashlights.
Cost for the day is $116.00 which includes admission for the gardens! (6 Sept, 08)
Start time is 8am Saturday morning. We will carpool to lunch and Brookgreen gardens but space in others cars are not guaranteed Dress in comfortable summer clothes and bring a pad to sit and neal on! A hat and bug spray will make your day much more comfortable!
